You'll find an excellent public swimming pool a very short walk away from the property which has indoor and an outdoor pools. A lovely place to cool down on a hot day. There's even a gym in the center if you want to keep fit while you're away.

Would you like to hire a kayak and paddle along the Charente river enjoying the peace and the scenery knowing that you will be collected further downstream and returned to your starting point.

If you fancy trying your luck at catching a fish or two, it's very easy to get a licence and you can get those rods in the water anywhere along the river. The Charente river even runs along the bottom of the garden!
